The Problem

1/700 babies born in Australia has cerebral palsy, yet screening for cerebral palsy is not part of standard newborn screening in Australia.

The Solution

Our goal is to make early screening for cerebral palsy available for every baby born in Australia and one day the world. To do this, we have developed a prototype the Baby Moves app, enabling parents to record a video of their baby’s movements and send it to trained clinicians for assessment. However, this protype is for research purposes only. We are looking to take the next step and create a product that can be used clinically.
