The Problem

Children with autism, including my own, often face challenges with change and social interactions. Research shows that personalized narratives with visuals have proven effective in enhancing understanding and empathy, but creating these resources is often complex and time-consuming. With 15-20% of the global population exhibiting neurodivergence, there is a significant gap in tailored teaching resources across schools and home. Educators and therapists spend hours weekly preparing individualized resources, which takes away from time they could spend directly supporting student development.

The Solution

Ella is an AI tool tailored for special education teachers and therapists working with neurodiverse learners. Ella streamlines the creation of visual supports, such as social stories, visual schedules, and picture cards, enabling educators to effectively meet the unique needs of each student. With Ella, educators can augment their teaching strategies and offer personalized support, ensuring that every student is engaged and supported.
