The Problem

Neuwo is an intelligent travel companion designed for neurodivergent individuals aged 12-35 who rely on public transport. Our focus is on supporting autistic, dyslexic, and ADHD commuters who face daily challenges navigating public transportation systems. With one in five people globally being neurodivergent, the impact of inaccessible public transport predominantly affects their access to work, education and social activities. The core challenge lies in managing unpredictable sensory triggers, from overwhelming noise levels to unexpected crowds and unregulated indoor temperatures leading to mental and physical burnout. Current navigation tools fall short, lacking crucial accessibility information and personalisation features, making the journey planning process anxiety-inducing. At Neuwo we're creating a more accessible and informed travel experience. Our goal is to prioritise the well-being of neurodivergent commuters and make their everyday journeys more efficient.
