The Problem

There is a lack of accessible health and fitness products on the market for people with disabilities. Very few products provide accessible options, fewer provide accessible options for multiple disabilities on the same platform and none provide the opportunity for people with disabilities and people without disabilities to workout together.

The Solution

Our solution is an accessible and inclusive health and fitness app that allows those who are blind/low vision, deaf/hard of hearing, wheelchair users with and without lower body mobility, and their social circles, to access health and fitness in a way that works for them. We're integrating American Sign Language into our content (in addition to captions), we co-create multiple adaptive versions of each class (co-created by fitness instructors with disabilities and instructors without disabilities) and our video player will allow users to follow multiple instructors simultaneously, so people with disabilities and people without disabilities can workout together in the same classes. We're also adding additional features such as the ability to adjust the instructor volume and music volume separately so music can be turned down or off.
