
Bernard Chiira is the Founder and CEO of AT4D (Assistive Technologies for Disability) Trust and Director and Co-founder of Innovate Now, Africa’s first assistive technology accelerator established with GDI Hub. With over a decade of experience in innovation, entrepreneurship, and disability inclusion, Bernard has worked with partners across Africa, Europe, the UK, and the USA. He is Co-founder and first Chairperson of ASSEK, Co-founder of the Inclusive Innovation Network (+N), and a Founding Innovation Fellow at Global Innovation Catalyst.
Bernard also serves on advisory boards including Pangea Trust, the Kenya Innovation Agency, and the Kenya Disability Inter-agency Committee. He is a recognised leader in Africa’s innovation ecosystem, passionate about advancing inclusive entrepreneurship.
