Storm Menzies

ByStorm Beauty began with an injury — and a lifetime of adapting. When founder Storm Menzies, who has Cerebral Palsy, injured her dominant hand, she found herself unable to hold a mascara wand. With no accessible tools available, she taught herself 3D modelling and began creating her own solutions. Collaborating with her community of disabled friends, carers, and support workers, Storm set out to reimagine beauty for everyone.

What started in her garage has grown into ByStorm Beauty, a movement for inclusive design and self-expression. Storm recently launched a partnership with Australian comedy icon Celeste Barber, bringing accessible beauty into the mainstream. A 2024 Remarkable Launcher alumni and participant in the Remarkable Toyota Mobility program, Storm continues to innovate at the intersection of accessibility, design, and confidence.

At the 2025 Disability Tech Summit, Storm will appear in Startup Alley and the Remarkable Showcase.
