We are thrilled to introduce the US cohort joining our 2024 Remarkable Accelerator program. These innovative companies are set to transform the landscape of Disability Tech, showcasing the immense potential and diversity within this field.

The Power of Disability Tech Innovation

Disability Tech is a sector bursting with possibilities and made up of innovations that are driven by the lived experiences of people with disabilities, that benefit everyone. Given over 16% of the world’s population lives with a disability, that’s a market with an annual disposable income of up to $13 trillion USD, with a huge opportunity!

According to Remarkable US Director Molly Lazarus:

“Every year the quality of companies that we see emerging in the space is increasing and this year is no exception. We are seeing a new wave of thoughtful disability technology built by and with disabled people. The companies in this year’s Remarkable US cohort are reimagining access, representation and making the workplace more accessible. We are thrilled to be a part of their journey.”

Remarkable's Accelerator Fuels Disability Tech Innovators

Our 16-week accelerator program is made possible by Cerebral Palsy Alliance (CPA) and Cerebral Palsy Alliance Research Foundation (CPARF). The program is designed to equip startups with the tools they need to succeed including seed funding, comprehensive training, and access to valuable networks.

This year, our program features two cohorts:

Startups in this year’s US-based cohort receive $55,000 USD of funding, supported by CPARF, San Manuel Band of Mission Indians, QBE North America, Consumer Technology Association, CPARF donors, the James and Pamela Griffith Family Foundation and Aristocrat. Both cohorts will benefit from our intensive support, which includes masterclasses, sprints, deep dives, and personal coaching.
