The Disability Tech Summit 2025 is only a month away, so we thought we’d share the key information you’ll need to plan your day. 

On 11 November, the Summit will take over the iconic Sydney Town Hall for a full day of connection, collaboration, and cutting-edge ideas. Doors open at 8 am for registration, coffee and networking, then the opening plenary kicks off at 9 am, featuring insightful keynotes and panel conversations.

Getting to Sydney Town Hall 

We recommend travelling to the Summit by public transport if it’s available to you. The closest car parks are St Andrews House | Town Hall Car Park and the QVB Car Park (enter on York Street).

  • Train: : Town Hall Station is directly underneath Sydney Town Hall. From the station, take the lift at Exit 2 to George Street.
  • Light Rail: Town Hall stop on George Street, directly in front of Sydney Town Hall
  • Bus: Multiple services stop nearby

Accessibility at the Summit 

We’re committed to making the Disability Tech Summit an inclusive and accessible experience for everyone. Accessibility supports will include:

  • Auslan interpreting
  • Live captioning
  • Hearing loop
  • Step-free and lift access
  • Accessible and all-gender bathrooms
  • Sensory-friendly quiet space
  • Assistance animal relief area

To help create an accessible experience, we engaged our friends at Sociability to develop a detailed accessibility guide for Sydney Town Hall. The guide is designed to help attendees prepare ahead of the Disability Tech Summit and feel confident navigating throughout the venue. Food and Drink

Tickets to the Summit include barista-made coffee, all meals and refreshments. If you have a dietary requirement, you can inform us of this when completing the ticket info at the Humanitix checkout.

Tickets and Support

Discounted tickets are available for students, concession card holders, and people with lived experience of disability.

If you require the support of a companion or support worker, you are eligible for a free Companion Pass.

Thanks to our Gift-a-Ticket program, community members with lived experience of disability can attend even if cost is a barrier. You can also choose to sponsor a ticket during checkout to support others.
