11 November 2025 | Sydney Town Hall

We are thrilled to reveal four of the presenters who will be joining us at the Disability Tech Summit 2025: Matt Pierri, Dr Katherine Hunt, Aubrey Blanche, and Amy Whalley. Each individual will bring their unique expertise and experiences to the event, to help us re-wire the future.

Matt Pierri | CEO and Founder of Sociability

Matt Pierri is the founder and CEO of Sociability, a disability tech company organising the world's accessibility information. A wheelchair user himself, Matt is passionate about removing barriers to inclusion for disabled people and reframing old narratives and stereotypes around disability. Before Sociability, Matt was an Entrepreneur-in-Residence for Eric Schmidt, and a Visiting Scholar at the University of Oxford's Blavatnik School of Government, where he studied as a Rhodes Scholar.

Matt has shared his insights on multiple episodes of the Remarkable Insights podcast.

He will deliver the Opening Keynote “The Future is Accessible” as part of the Re-Map track.

Dr Katherine Hunt | AI Ethics Academic and Global Keynote Speaker

Dr Katherine Hunt is where ethics meets psychology, and AI ideas turn into action. Australia’s most engaging voice on Ethics, Katherine has built Masters courses, authored the definitive textbooks Everyday Ethics for Financial Advisers and Ethics in Banking and Finance, and published dozens of peer-reviewed articles that shape how professionals think and act. A former tenured academic at Griffith University, financial planner with Aspire Financial Planning, and holder of a PhD in The Law and Economics of Microfinance (Erasmus University Rotterdam, University of Hamburg, University of Bologna), Katherine blends academic rigour with real-world experience. Her background spans psychology, commerce, and finance, giving her a rare strategic lens on the biggest challenges facing business today.

Katherine has worked in the field from Pakistan to Bhutan, surfed waves in more than 20 countries, and visited over 70. Her focus now: helping leaders and practices achieve ethical growth, building trust, and creating impact that lasts beyond the algorithm. She will deliver a keynote titled “Re-Wiring the Human Code: Trust and Ethics in the Age of AI,” as part of the Opening Plenary Re-Wire the Future within the Re-Wire track.

Aubrey Blanche | Founder of The Mathpath

Aubrey Blanche, founder of The Mathpath (Math Nerd + Empath), is an ethical strategy and operations executive with global experience specialising in developing and scaling teams and processes to achieve responsible growth objectives. An expert at systems-level analysis and design and a believer in data-informed methods, with extensive experience in communications (internal, external, and crisis), HR, ESG, AI governance, and go-to-market strategy. Experienced non-profit board member, startup investor, and advisor. She is currently the CEO of her eponymous equitable design consultancy and Director of Ethical Advisory & Strategic Programs at The Ethics Centre.

Aubrey Blanche will join Steve King for a fireside chat titled “Big Tech Designing for Inclusion,” part of the Opening Plenary: Re-Wire the Future within the Re-Work track.

Amy Whalley | CEO of Australian Disability Network

Amy Whalley joined Australian Disability Network as the CEO in September 2025. She previously served as Deputy CEO and Relationship Manager from 2012 to 2022. She has extensive experience working with business and government influencing disability inclusion practice and policy, in Australia and UK.

Before rejoining, Amy was the Head of Strategy for Valuable 500, UK-based not-for-profit with a global mission to end disability exclusion. She also held a senior role with the Australian Institute of Company Directors where she developed and led a change program to embed accessibility and disability confidence across the organisation.

Amy’s passion for disability inclusion is personal, stemming from her family’s lived experience of disability. This passion particularly informed the early part of her career, where she helped establish an independent living service for adults with intellectual disabilities in London and worked in sport development at Special Olympics Australia. She is a strong believer in the power of collaboration for change and impact.

Amy will bring her knowledge and experience to the panel, “The Workplace That Adapts to You”, as part of our Opening Plenary: Re-Wire the Future.
