Unlocking Growth In Disability Tech

The global Disability Tech market is booming, and I couldn’t be more excited about the momentum we’re experiencing.

At Remarkable, we know that the most scalable, high-impact solutions need the right capital, strategic partnerships, and expert guidance to reach their full potential. In late 2023, we launched our Scaler Co-investment Initiative, with a mission to support proven Disability Tech startups as they scale their impact. Our growing portfolio now spans Australia, the US, and the UK, with startups already reaching 100,000+ people with disability. And this is just the beginning.

Our Scaler startups aren’t just building great businesses—they’re tackling some of the world’s biggest social challenges.

  • 100% of our portfolio companies contribute to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly:
    • Goal 3: Good Health & Wellbeing – Advancing personal mobility, healthcare, and assistive tech.
    • Goal 8: Reduced Inequalities – Enabling access to employment, public spaces, and essential services.
  • 67% of Scaler companies also address Decent Work and Economic Growth, reducing disability underemployment and fostering inclusive workplaces.

By backing these founders, we’re not just supporting individual businesses—we’re helping to reshape industries and drive systemic change.

What We Invest In

At Remarkable, our Scaler initiative supports startups that aren’t just innovative—but truly transformative. Our investments focus on four key pillars:

  • Impact: Does the technology have the potential to significantly improve the quality of life of people with complex disability, such as cerebral palsy?
  • Scalability: Can the solution reach a global market?
  • Innovation: We seek out startups that are pushing the boundaries of what’s possible in Disability Tech, often those that are taking a fresh approach to long-standing challenges.
  • Lived Experience:  Are people with disability actively involved in designing the solution?

We believe the best products are built by and with, not just for, the disability community.

Join Us in Scaling Disability Tech
