Collage featuring the Remarkable team alongside Australia+ Accelerator 2025 founders, capturing moments of leadership, innovation, and community.

At Remarkable, our mission is to empower Disability Tech innovators with the training, capital, and networks they need to help create a future that is accessible, equitable, and inclusive for all.

2025 brought many meaningful moments for Remarkable and our community. Together, we worked alongside founders, partners, and our community to support collaboration, innovation and growth in Disability Tech.

Here is a snapshot of what we worked on together throughout the year.

Our Impact in 2025

In 2025, we supported Disability Tech innovators in a number of ways.

Summary of Remarkable’s 2025 impact: 12 participants in Toyota Tech Immersions, 32 startups in the Launcher pre-accelerator, 7 startups in the Accelerator, and 2 Scaler investments.

Behind these figures are stories of innovation, inclusion, and real-world change, supported by a global community of innovators, mentors, partners, and supporters.

Throughout 2025, our impact continued to grow through the founders and teams we supported, the customers they reached, and the investment they secured.

Supporting Innovators at Every Stage

  • Toyota Tech Immersion: 12 startups and research projects took part in two-day immersions, and had the opportunity to workshop their mobility-focused-innovations with Toyota engineers and designers.
  • Launcher32 early-stage startups from seven countries took part in our pre-accelerator. Over eight weeks, founders worked with dedicated coaches to validate ideas and solutions through co-design and user feedback. Learn more about the 2025 Launcher cohort
  • Accelerator: Seven startups from around the world took part in our Australia+ and US Accelerator cohorts, working to grow their businesses and create meaningful change. Learn how the 2025 Australia+ Cohort and 2025 US Cohort are driving change.
  • Scaler: Our Scaler portfolio grew to seven startups in 2025, with Cephable  and Possibility Neurotechnologies receiving investment to support the next stage of their growth.

This work is at the core of what we do, supporting innovators with the tools, training, and connections to turn their ideas into meaningful solutions.

Accelerating Impact Through Community and Collaboration

Our support for Disability Tech innovators extends beyond programs and investment.

Through ongoing relationships, partnerships, and events, we continue to support alumni and engage with new founders across the ecosystem. This work reflects our commitment to strengthening networks and creating pathways that help Disability Tech innovation grow over time.

  • Remarkable x Alliance20 Pitch Night — March · Brisbane - We showcased high-potential Disability Tech and AI startups to Alliance20 CEOs, investors, and industry leaders. Accelerator and Scaler founders from Sociability, MediStays, Umps Health, SpendAble, and Hayylo pitched alongside emerging AI startups. The event set out to strengthen connections across Brisbane’s thriving startup and disability ecosystem and highlighted how technology is shaping a more inclusive future.
  • Remarkable x Hireup Labs at Hi-Con — August · Sydney - We joined Hireup at their annual staff conference for skills-sharing sessions with some of our Sydney-based startups including Button, ByStorm Beauty, FutureTech AustraliaMarco Polo, Lusio Rehab, Sound Scouts, and Vertere. Each startup took real-world challenges they were facing and spent a couple of hours with people from across Hireup on areas including UX feedback, testing ideas, and developing partnership strategies. It was genuinely a Hi-Conic event and we would love to do more of this in 2026.
  • Community Connect — August · Melbourne - We brought together alumni, mentors, partners, and friends at the Telstra Customer Insights Centre for a relaxed community catch-up featuring pitches from our Launcher founders and rapid-pitches from alumni including Rampey, Knowable.me, and The Shapes United. With support from LaunchVic, Toyota, and the Telstra Foundation, the evening sparked fresh conversations and new collaborations across Melbourne’s growing Disability Tech community. We’re excited to build on this momentum with more events planned for 2026.
  • Toyota Tech Immersions — May & September · Melbourne - Across two immersions in 2025, twelve mobility-focused hardware startups took part in a two-day deep dive at Toyota’s Centre of Excellence. Founders worked closely with Toyota engineers and designers to workshop product challenges, learn the Toyota Way, and even test-drive vehicles on the track. With teams travelling from Canada, the United States, and across Australia, the immersions were a highlight of the year - helping to advance the future of mobility and disability inclusion.

These connections continue to support a growing Disability Tech ecosystem where startups, industry, and community can work together.

A Decade of Disability Tech Impact

In 2025 we also marked our tenth year of accelerating Disability Tech innovation at Remarkable.

Over this time, founders, big ideas, and committed communities have shaped progress across the Disability Tech ecosystem. To recognise this milestone, we’re sharing Remarkable: A Decade of Impact, a short video that reflects some of the journeys, breakthroughs, and collective effort behind our mission.

This video is a reminder that real impact happens when people come together with a shared commitment to a more inclusive future.

Together, we are Remarkable.
